Hi! My name is Champ. Some humans call me Champer, Trouncer, Buddy, Champer-Damper-Doo and sometimes they call me this strange name "Dude". I think humans are amazing and I am always wondering how they can balance on only two legs. Sometimes I have a difficult time balancing on all four!
I am a 75 pound Yellow Lab and proud to be. Some of my friends are very small, and some are very big. I am glad to be my size. I can easily fit on the floor of our moving device (My person calls it a car) and am big enough to run fast and catch my ball! I love my ball and get very excited when you say "ball" or "outside".
My humans are all different sizes. My pack-leader is a tall man. He is in charge of me and the other pups in the family. Second in command is a woman. She is very nice to me and talks to me funny. She doesn't usually talk like that to the other pups. The other pups are all taller than I am, and they only have two legs too. I am the only one in my pack with four legs and fur.
My friends are all like me though. One of them lives very close to me and I see him a lot. His name is Jedediah (his humans call him Jed for short) and he is the very large dog I was talking about. He is a Long-Haired German Shepherd and has much longer hair then me. He is happy almost all the time. But he tells me that he gets very sad when he is left alone. He is not as good of a fetcher as I am, but he is a much better kisser than I am. His people say that he gives the best kisses.
Another friend of mine lives very far away now. Her name is Roxie. She is a Chocolate Lab. She is much older then I am, but she is a very good play-mate. Whenever her and her person visits, we run around our big backyard for a long time. We get so tired we sometimes fall asleep in the front porch. I don't see her very much anymore, but I can't wait to see her again.
My best friend is named Daisy. She is a black and white Tibetian Terrier. She is the very small dog I was talking about. She lives with my pack-leaders parents and sometimes we go to their house and I see her and sometimes she comes to our hose. I like it when we get to the play. She is about 10-years-old and I am only 3, but we get along great! Her and I are very good at foraging for scraps under the table and we are Professional Nappers.
Now you know almost everything about me, and I hope you enjoy my blog.
ROOF!
